We bought this house in 2005 and moved in shortly after. Why Ribaute ? Well, it was near the sea (about 40 mins) and not too expensive. Where is Ribaute ? just North of Nimes and East of Montpellier. Surrounded by low wooded hills and vineyards, with the clear light of Van G. Not quite a bucolic idyll but a suitable retirement spot. Photos below are of garden in 2014 (was a field when we arrived.) Yes, I think we may stay.
And photo taken in 2005:
What do you think of it so far ?
